PackDrive is operated by PACKDRIVE LLC, based in New Jersey, United States. In this policy, "PackDrive," "we," "us," and "our" refer to PACKDRIVE LLC.

PackDrive is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. You may not use PackDrive if you are under 13.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use PackDrive, we may collect the following categories of information:

• Account information, such as your name, username, email address, authentication identifiers, profile photo, friends, profile settings, notification preferences, and subscription status.
• Ride and route information, such as ride history, route coordinates, destination details, stops, distance, duration, speed, elevation, vehicle information you choose to provide, and showcased rides you add to your profile.
• Precise location information, including background location when you enable permissions that allow PackDrive to keep ride groups updated and save ride history while the app is in the background.
• Communications information, including chat messages, direct messages, event messages, message metadata, and support or moderation records.
• Device, app, and usage information, such as app version, device type, operating system, diagnostics, crash or error data, performance data, network information, notification tokens, and interactions with app features.
• Payment and subscription information, such as product identifiers, transaction metadata, entitlement status, offering information, and subscription status. Apple and Google handle payment card details, purchases, refunds, and store account information through their own systems.

Device Permissions

PackDrive may ask for device permissions to support app features. You can control these permissions in your device settings.

• Location and background location are used for live group ride tracking, navigation, route history, speed, elevation, and ride safety context.
• Microphone access is used for group voice chat while riding.
• Camera and photo library access are used for profile pictures and Quick Add rider code scanning.
• Motion or activity recognition is used to improve ride tracking accuracy and save ride metrics such as max G-force.
• Notifications are used for service messages, ride invites, chat alerts, event updates, and account-related communications.
• Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and nearby-device signals may be used by the operating system or app features to improve ride awareness, connectivity, and nearby rider detection.
• Speech recognition may be used when you choose to enter destinations by voice.

Some PackDrive features may not work properly without the related permission.

Chat and Voice

PackDrive uses encryption for chat messages. Ride chat messages are stored for up to 7 days and are then deleted automatically.

PackDrive does not record or store voice chat audio. Voice chat is provided through Agora.io, a third-party real-time communications provider. When you use voice chat, audio and related session, device, network, and operational data may be processed by Agora as needed to provide and secure the voice service.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide and operate PackDrive features, including ride groups, navigation, profiles, showcased rides, friends, chats, voice chat, events, subscriptions, CarPlay, Android Auto, and related app experiences.
• Display your profile, public profile fields, ride presence, and showcased rides to other users when those features are enabled or shared.
• Share your live ride location with users in your ride group.
• Save ride history and route data for your account.
• Process subscription access and maintain premium entitlements.
• Send service messages, ride notifications, chat notifications, event updates, and account-related communications.
• Improve app reliability, performance, security, safety, and user experience.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, spam, security incidents, and policy violations.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How We Share Information

We do not sell user data. We may share information:

• With other users as needed to provide app features, such as your profile, ride presence, ride location, chats, showcased rides, ride group activity, and event participation.
• With service providers, processors, vendors, infrastructure providers, and platform operators that help us operate, secure, host, maintain, analyze, support, and improve PackDrive.
• With Apple and Google as needed for app distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions, refunds, notifications, device services, and platform requirements.
• When required by law, legal process, or a valid government request.
• To protect PackDrive, users, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats, or harm.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets.

Third-Party Services

PackDrive uses third-party services to provide core functionality, infrastructure, communications, subscriptions, maps, navigation, support, and platform integrations. These services may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

• Firebase and Google Cloud services, including Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Admin SDK, and related Google infrastructure.
• Mapbox services for maps, map styles, navigation-related services, geocoding, search, routing, matrix, map matching, isochrone, offline map, tile, and Android Auto map services.
• Agora.io for real-time voice chat.
• RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, purchase status, product identifiers, transaction metadata, offerings, and subscription webhook processing.
• Apple App Store and Google Play services for app distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions, payment processing, refunds, receipts, app review, platform compliance, device services, and related platform operations.
• Resend for support and contact-request email delivery.
• QRServer for QR code generation and QR code image scanning used by Quick Add features.
• Device and operating-system services provided by Apple, Google, and device manufacturers, including location services, push notification delivery, native geocoding, Live Activities, CarPlay, Android Auto, and related platform functionality.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide PackDrive, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect users, maintain security, and keep business records.

Ride chat messages are stored for up to 7 days and then automatically deleted. Ride history, profile information, account information, subscription records, and support records may be retained while your account is active or as needed for legitimate business, legal, security, or operational purposes.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect user information, including encryption for chat messages and platform security controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You can update some account information in the app, adjust device permissions, manage notification preferences, and manage subscriptions through the applicable app store account settings.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of certain personal information, and you may be able to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a privacy request, contact us at support@packdrive.info.

Children's Privacy

PackDrive is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to PackDrive, contact us at support@packdrive.info.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice when required by law.
